Emmah was a star, organising everything with efficiency and precision. It was great to see all the work that had been done on the lodge, the roads and general conservation. Especial thanks to Bogo for getting the Suzuki Samurai in tip-top condition. I think we shall have to start applying our minds to replacing the game viewing vehicle , which is now more than 20 years old
I have sent a circular letter to all shareholders. Emmah handled everything with superb efficiency. I was most impressed with all the lodge maintenance and repair work. Excellent conservation work and road maintenance too. I am most grateful to the managers and Bogo for getting my Suzuki Samurai in tip-top condition.
I regret to say that I think we shall have to start to apply our minds to getting a new game viewing vehicle. But this is not the fault of our manger or staff but fair wear and tear over more than 20 years.
Vehicle not looked after by Dopotta so two questions irrelevant. I marked down general maintenance and reserve facilities because i do think that road maintenance is not as good as it could be. There are many large loose rocks in the vehicle tracks which could damage tyres.
I think these are loosened by dragging a tyre on rocky surfaces. A drive around with staff will enable them to move these loose rocks away from the driving surfaces.
The condition of the lodge itself was just amazing, the best i have ever seen it.
Management and staff were really at the top level. Thanks for a wonderful visit.
